Lauderdale County posted a 98-4 record and won three girls state championships during her three years. She averaged 14 points a game as a sophomore during a 30-2 season in 1990-91; 16 points during a 34-1 season in 1991-92; and 18 points, seven rebounds, six assists and three steals as a senior during a 34-1 season.  She was chosen All-State, All-Area, All-County, and numerous other all-star teams as well as being chosen MVP on many of those teams. She was the Times Daily Player of the Year as a senior and chosen to play in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star team. She later signed to play at Jacksonville State. Her teams at Anderson Junior High posted undefeated records all three years.
