Jason Meadows

A three-sport standout at Brooks, graduating in 1983, earning all-area honors in football, basketball and track. He was an all-state performer in football as a senior. He was a three-time medalist in the Alabama High School Athletic Association’s 3A state track meets in 1982 and 1983. He finished second to Bo Jackson in the 1982 high jump in the state indoor and outdoor meets. He was a top 10 finisher in the state decathlon in 1982 and 1983. He was a four-year letterman for the Jacksonville State football team, starting his final three seasons at outside linebacker and defensive end. He was all-GSC as a senior and finished with 170 career tackles, eight quarterback sacks, six caused fumbles and seven fumble recoveries.
